Clement David Gordon

Clement David Gordon, 87, of Pensacola, formerly of Clinton Township, MI, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013. Born in Bayfield, WI, he served his country with the United States Navy and retired after twenty years of service. He was an accomplished photographer, an avid golfer and was a member of the Lake Superior Chippewa Red Cliff Tribe. Clement was of the Catholic faith. Preceded in death are his parents, Anton F. and Katherine O’Shogay Gordon; sisters, Sophie Morin, Elsie Morin, Louise, Morin, Lucille, Morin and a brother, Robert Morin. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years, Ollie Mae Gordon; children, Andrew B. Lashley (Shirlene), Linda R. Ingles, Robbie A. Gordon and Robert M. Gordon; grandchildren, L. Troy Lewis, D’Wayne Lashley, Aaron Gordon, Adrian Gordon, Andrew Gordon, David Golembiewski; great-grandchildren, Robert D. Gordon, Katie B. Gordon, Christian Gordon and Haley Gordon. The family will be receiving friends at 12:00 noon Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home until services begin at 12:50 p.m. Interment, with full military honors, will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery, NAS Pensacola. Special thanks are extended to the Gazebo Unit at Azalea Trace and Covenant Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Hospice in memory of Clement David Gordon.
