Bessie “Annette” Manson, 75, of Pensacola, left this earth and returned to her heavenly home, on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
Annette was born the youngest of 7 children on, September 25, 1943 in Jay, Florida. At a young age, her family moved to Bay Minette, Alabama where she went attended school and graduated from Baldwin County High School. Annette fell in love with and married Jerry W. Davis SR, of Bay Minette. They made Pensacola their home in 1981. Annette loved the medical field and worked as a CNA for Hospice, as well as volunteered with the American Red Cross.
Annette is preceded in death by her husband Jerry W. Davis, SR, and her husband (in her later years), Alvin Manson; parents LaPresscott McKissack and Bessie Parker; siblings, Dolly McKissack, Elmis McKissack, Rogers McKissack and James McKissack.
She is survived by her children, Jerry W. Davis, JR (Lynn), Ursula Kiesler (Ben); grandchildren, Grace, Faith and Daniel Kiesler and Travis Boyington; siblings, Dean Gilley and Bill McKissack; life-long friend, Jean Waters; and many other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, in Pensacola, Florida on Wednesday, May 22,2019 from 9AM until the service begins at 10AM with Pastor Michael Montgomery officiating. Pallbearers include: Ben Kiesler, Juan Medero, Drew Minchew, Ken Frazier, James Stevens, and Thomas Deidhou. Honorary Pallbearer: Travis Boyington.
Annette’s family would like to thank Emerald Coast Hospice for their support and care, as well as some special staff at the Brookdale Assisted Living Facility – Jackie, Veronica, Sheria, Wendelin, Crista and many others – You make a difference!

    She brightened up my day ! I could go see her and she would always make me laugh! One particular time was after she got her hair done ! I said to her I love your hair! She said thank you I look like a Qtip ! She was always friendly always smiling ! I enjoyed her over the last few years ! Rest in Paradise Annette!! I will really miss you 😘

    We spent many hours together in the beauty shop as well as hanging out together in her beautiful apartment while living at Brookdale. Lynn kept her apartment looking awesome. Jerry was always visiting his mom.
    God knows….I am thankful I was able to serve.
