My heart is broken in a million pieces! I have always looked up to Carla! Never a dull moment with Carla around! I was always in constant awe, when I seen Carla in action with the way she handled everyday life, and how complicated things in life were for many of us, it sure wasn’t for Carla! It came easy to her, for example, when she earned her Masters Degree, I will never forget her doing her homework while in the car, while we were on trips, unbelievable, she was determined and got it done! She came into my life, when I married her cousin in 1991, even after my divorce, we remained friends, and she always treated me, my children, and grandchildren like we were family. My children and I will always have a special place in our hearts for such a beautiful person inside and out. Prayers going out to the family at this difficult time. God has received yet another ANGEL!

  18. Katy Ingraham says:

Carla had that smile that could light up a room! She had a love for Morgan and Jakob that went beyond a mother’s love and extended to a best friend. The bond between her and Morgan was inseparable, they were truly best friends. She was a great mimi to her grandkids, a wonderful mother to all of her children loving unconditionally and an amazing wife to Sid! She touched everyone’s heart and left an everlasting touch on everyone she encountered. She found joy in life every single day, no matter what was going on she was ALWAYS smiling. May her smiling face live on through her daughter and her laughter carry on through others. I will forever cherish the memories I had the chance of creating with her and the family.

  19. Lindsey says:

    Auntie Carla, Your smile
Could light up more than a room, it lit up a life. You were the light of hope, happiness and love for my aunt Sid. She was living her best life, filled with adventure, grandchildren, and a beautiful wife. We will miss seeing your smile light up our Facebook feeds, but your light will never go out in our family. May you rest in absolute peace knowing your time here, although too short, full of substance. We love you.
