Cynthia “Cindy” B. McLamb • November 22, 2017



Cynthia “Cindy” B. McLamb, 57 formerly of Flomaton, AL passed away November 22, 2017. She was born in Brewton, AL to Douglas and Patricia Bagwell. She lived in the Pensacola area for 35 years and retired from the Escambia County School District after 14 years of service.
Cindy was a member of Perdido Bay Baptist Church where she was very involved in church activities. She was also a member of the Avondale Homemakers. Cindy’s favorite pastime was spent working in her garden tending to her flowers.
Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Douglas Bagwell. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 30 years, Barry; mother, Patricia Bagwell; sons, Robby McLamb (Amber), Joshua McLamb; brothers, Jeff Bagwell (Michelle), Steve Bagwell (Tammy), Randy Bagwell (Becky), James Bagwell; sister-in-law, Belinda McLamb; brothers-in-law, Tony McLamb (Karen), Michael McLamb (Linda); grandchild, Wesley; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 6-8pm Monday, November 27, 2017 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place 11:00 am at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Tuesday, November 28, 2017 with Dr. Lonnie Hughes officiating.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Covenant Hospice Sacred Heart, Dr. James Watkins and staff of the Sacred Heart Cancer Center, and to the many friends and family who spent countless hours with her. Their love and care will not be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Covenant Hospice.

    Barry and family, we are sorry for your loss. Cindy was a wonderful example of a godly woman. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. You, Josh and family are in our thoughts and prayers.
    We plan to come to the visitation on Monday night, but Jim has a doctors appointment with his oncologist at 9:30 at S.H. and with bloodwork we don’t think we will be finished before 11:00.

    Mrs. McLamb was a nice, sweet and kind woman who made me feel welcome in the data world in Escambia County School district. She was always helpful and anytime I call she would go beyond the call of duty to help me. I will really miss speaking to you. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
