Dewey L. Bardin, 95 of Pensacola, Florida passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018.
Dewey was employed with the Civil Service at NAS Pensacola for ten years and spent many years as a carpenter in the Pensacola area. “Mr. Dewey” was known in the area as a talented pool player as well as an avid domino player. He spent several years entertaining others in nursing homes with music and games. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Evelyn Pugh Bardin; son, Jon Bardin (Angela); daughters, Michelle Tucker (Dale), Winona Smith (Keith); six grandchildren, Lierin Carroll (Jeremy), Cory Tucker (Stephany), Kristen Smith (Todd), Rebecca Dorosh (Jonathan), Cassidy Bardin, Lindsey Bardin; and ten great grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cory Tucker, Jonathan Dorosh, Jeremy Carroll, Todd Riggins, Edward Bardin, Greg Bardin, Jeff Price, Mark Strader, Eric See, and Ryan Price.
A visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 12pm until the service begins at 1pm.

    Very Sorry to see Mr Dewey passed . He was a good friend to my husband . They played pool together many days and went to many pool tournaments together . He kept Ronnie company many day when he couldn’t walk also and I am very grateful for that I hope You find peace in knowing there was a lot of good Mr Dewey did for other people.Rest in peace Dewey . Dewey I know your walking the streets of gold .

    Mr. Dewey was as fine of a man as ever walked God’s green Earth. I am sure he is walking with the Lord today. I hope my Dad met him at the gates of Heaven with a cue stick in his hand.

    Dewey was a wonderful man. He was my Sunday School teacher when I was in the 9th grade and my high school years. Jim and I will be praying for you, Evelyn, and your family during this difficult time.
