EMMA LOU COULSON
Emma Lou (Malone) Coulson went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 9, 2019 at the home of Daniel and Wendy Foster in Gautier, Mississippi. She was born on March 3, 1937 in Cantonment, Florida and has been a resident of Pensacola, Florida for 23 years. Emma was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Joseph Coulson, for 42 years. She was a wonderful mother and a blessing to her three daughters and “Mema” to her three grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, reading and collecting dolls, but most importantly she enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Pensacola, Florida.
Mrs. Coulson is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Coulson, her parents, John Alvin Malone and Willie Susie (Smith) Malone, her sisters, Elvia Stephens and Shirley Sapp, and her brothers, Alvin, Archie, James and Raymond Malone.
She is survived by her three daughters, Diana Lynn (Mike) Ericson of Birmingham, AL, Brenda Ann (Edward) Levine of Burlingame, CA, and Wendy Jo Coulson (Daniel) Foster of Gautier, MS, three grandchildren, Valerie Lynn Smith of Durango, CO, Joseph Daniel Foster of Pascagoula, MS and Amanda Leigh Foster of Gautier, MS, two brothers, Jerauld (Veronica) Malone and Ronald (Carol) Malone and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, April 15th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Rev. David Aultman, Pastor at First Baptist Church of Gautier, MS, officiating. Interment will follow in Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
