George D. Moore, Sr., age 80, of Pensacola passed away Friday, August 11, 2017.
Mr. Moore was born in Columbus, Indiana and resided in the Pensacola area for the past 15 years. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
George was a member of Perdido Bay Baptist Church and was a former member of the Hall Summit F. & A.M. Lodge in Louisiana.
Preceding George in death are his parents, Paul and Pauline Moore, and brother, Dale Moore.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Edith Scales Moore; sons, George Dean Moore, Jr. and Jeffery Moore (Tracy); brother, Art Brown (Judy); sister, Janet Tedder (Jesse); grandson, Zachary Moore (Ashley); 3 great grandchildren, Ava, Aiden and Paul; grandson, Christopher Moore, granddaughter, Taylor Moore.
Visitation will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 1pm till the service begins at 2pm with Pastor Lonnie Hughes officiating.
