Patricia “Ann” Simmons, 66 of Pensacola, Florida passed away peacefully at home. She was proceeded in death by her parents James “Buck” and Earline Odom, her sister Mildred Joaquin and her son Francis “Junior” Simmons III. She is survived by by her brother, Philip Odom and three daughters, Loretta Toop and husband Richie Toop, Patricia Simmons, and Jennifer Simmons. She was know as “Granny” by her eleven grandchildren, Jeshua, Amber, Marcus, Becky, Timmy, Joy, Brandon, Chris, Brian, Tiffany, and Tigger, and nine great grandchildren Ayden, Caleb, Tristan, Chance, Landyn, Kaylin, Savannah, Gracie, and Eli. She loved all of them and thought of them always on her many many shopping trips. She was an amazing woman for those that have known her and those who have recently met her.

She was born in Atmore, Alabama but spent almost all her life in Pensacola, Florida. She loved fishing but eventually her hobby became couponing and the love of shopping. She also loved to garden and being outdoors at home, planting flowers and vegetables in her garden. She was a very strong woman and a very independent one at that. She was loved by many and she will be truly missed.

A Memorial Service will be at held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday July 1st at 5 pm. The family will accept friends beginning 3:30 pm on Saturday.
