Thelma Best • July 22, 2017

Thelma Lowery Best returned to her Heavenly Father July 22, 2017. Mrs. Best exemplified Christian, selfless sisterhood, trusting God’s purpose for her life, never wavering. She cheerfully gave her life to her husband and children with total dedication. She especially loved expressing her artistic bent with sewing for her children and making custom furniture alongside her beloved husband, Paul, at Best Wood Products. Strangers became welcome neighbors in her home. She had strength and humor to the very end.
Thelma is survived by her five children, Marilyn Royals, Pamela McConkey, Barbara Dodgion, Michael Best, and Deborah D’Agostino, and eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. We will miss her with all our hearts, and look forward to reuniting with her and our beloved father in heaven.
The family will receive friends for visitation at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home from 1:00-2:00pm Monday, July 31, 2017 with funeral service to follow at 2:00pm.

TO Marilyn, Pam, Bobbie, Mike, and Deborah:
I have wonderful memories of your Mom at Klondike Baptist and the many times my sisters and I visited in your home! She was always so gracious and could cook wonderful meals. I’m sure she was blessed with extra patience as there were many times of laughter and silly girl giggling when we got together! I’m sorry I learned about your Mom’s passing too late to attend the services as I would have loved to give you each a hug! I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Love to you all!
