Tony E. Trawick • November 26, 2018

Tony Edward Trawick departed this life peacefully, holding the hand of his beloved wife, in the early morning hours of Monday, November 26, 2018. He was 59 years old. Tony was born on September 12, 1959, the first-born son to James and JoAnn Trawick of Pensacola, Florida. A life-long native, Tony met his soulmate, Angela, while she was hitchhiking in the summer of 1979, and becoming inseparable, made her his wife soon after. Together they shared two beautiful daughters and 39 joyous years of life. Following his love for all things automotive, he worked as a driver and mechanic for 15 years at Enfinger’s Auto Radiator & Muffler Service. He was a dedicated fan of motorsports, a passion which he shared with his children and grandchildren. His sarcastic humor and undeniable wit will be remembered by all who adore him.
Tony is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, R.J. and Bessie Trawick, maternal grandparents, Dewey and Vela Bradley, and his father, James, Sr.; and two grandsons. He is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years, Angela, his daughters, Toni Renee Drennan (James Bubba), Jamie Errickson (Adam), mother JoAnn, sisters Kathy Barlow, Merri Dennis (James), and brother, James “Pokey Jr.”, all of Pensacola. He leaves behind a legacy of 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren of whom he loved fiercely. He will be greatly missed by a long line of friends and family, all who, as Tony would say, “I’m glad they got to see me again”.
Visitation will be at Pensacola Memorial Gardens from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Chapel service will be held the following day, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2pm, graveside service to follow. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Diabetes Association and Covenant Hospice of Pensacola. The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at West Florida Covenant Hospice for their loving care and compassion. Pensacola Memorial Gardens has been entrusted with all arrangements.
