Bobby Thompson, 74, passed from this life Tuesday afternoon at his home surrounded by his wife and friends.
Bobby was born in Haw River, NC and moved to Pensacola in 1959. He served in the Korean War with the Air Force. He was employed at Chemstrand/Monsanto as a mechanic, retiring in 1990.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Jackie; one daughter, Cindy (Alan) Brown; two sons, Rocky (Debbie) and Steven (Lee Ann); and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home on Pine Forest Road, Friday, November 27, 2009 at 11:00 A.M.. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Northwest Florida School of Biblical Studies or Covenant Hospice.
