Donna Lynn Bell
12/14/1950 - 12/13/2009





On Sunday, December 13, 2009, Donna L. Bell was carried home by the angels to be with our Lord Savior Jesus Christ and the Blessed Mother.

Born in Mobile, AL on December 14, 1950, she resided at her home, Woodside Manor for 31 years.



She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, sister and MiMi. She was an exceptionally talented homemaker who enjoyed various hobbies. She was a member of the Daughters of the Confederate Soldiers. She attended St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Cantonment.



Preceded in death are her grandparents, Archie “Daddy Archie” and Lynda “Mama” Garvin and father, Floyd Crabtree.



Survivors include her husband of 41 years, F. A. “Peter” Bell, Jr.; daughter, Melissa Bell Hurst and husband, B. T. Hurst; son, Alex Bell and fiance, Kelly Swift; daughter, Miranda Bell Freauff and husband, Jason Freauff; granddaughter, Victoria Bell; grandsons, Wyatt and Tyler Hurst; mother, Janna Faye Watts Dodge; brother, Richard Gunn of New Orleans, LA.



A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.



Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the funeral home with Father George officiating.



Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.



Pallbearers will be Brad Buddin, Duane Holmes, Joey Grizzaffi, Jason Kirkland, Jed Martin and Sean Thompson.



Special thanks to Dr. Thomas Sunnenberg and all the staff at Sacred Heart Hospital’s Oncology Clinic and St. Catherine’s East and West Wing for the attention and care given to Donna.



Flowers are welcome, or donations may be made to St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Covenant Hospice or Lung Cancer Foundation of America, 15 South Franklin St., New Ulm, MN 56073.
