Hazel L. Lipham, 83, of Pensacola, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009.
Born in Graham, Alabama on August 28, 1926, she graduated from Baptist Bible Institute, Graceville, FL with a degree in theology. She was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church and taught the Lydia Sunday School Class. Ricky was an accomplished seamstress, an outstanding traditional Southern cook who treasured her beloved family.
Preceded in death are husband, Jesse Lipham and a brother, Clarence T. Smith.
Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Wondea (Ed) Kincaid; son, Jan Lipham; grandchildren, Brent Lipham, Richard Beach, Christopher Kincaid, Michelle Palmsteen and Nichole Meredith; great-grandchildren, Sarah Weber, Teresa Weber, Nathaniel Palmsteen, Natalie Palmsteen and Brianna Kincaid; daughter-in-law, Karla Lipham; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Traylor and Erlene Shellnutt and brothers-in-law, Kenneth and Homer Lipham.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Ted Traylor will be officiating clergy.
Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
