I had not known Vivian very long when she passed. What a tragic loss to your family and our profession. She was a dedicated and conscientous nurse. In the brief time that I knew here, I learned that she was a good person. She spoke of her love of her daughter all the time...and spoke of dreams she had for her future.... My heart aches for you. Please know that you are in my thoughts as you begin the long healing process that comes with a tragic loss such as this... Becky Lamb, RN

To The Family of Vivian Alker, We will miss Vivian! She was a very important part of our family. She will be forever missed, but never forgotten! She was a wonderful R.N. who cared so much for her patients and gave the best care 24/7. I truly believe she is in a better place where she will be able to do what she does best and that is to watch over the ones she loves and make sure they are well taken care of. Our hearts go out to you! Love, Tina and SHC

I have known Vivian for several years and feel blessed for the time we had together. Vivian was a very intelligent, diligent nurse who cared about her co-workers, patients, and friends. My condolescences to her family especially her daughter, Tabitha as I am a mother myself and could not fathom leaving my children behind at such a vulnerable age. I am confident that Vivian is at peace now and my thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends she has left behind on this earth. Sincerely Mary Scharer RN (co-worker and friend)

I was shocked to learn of the sad news. I will miss Vivian terribly. I thought of her often. I so wish I could talk to her now. I am so glad I had the honor to know her. My time in Pensacola and Okeechobee were blessed in large part due to her. I wish to say I am sorry to Tabitha. I, too, lost my mother in childhood. Kandi, Ian, Charles, & Winston.
